Agni Kai

Alvise can create, shape and manipulate blue flames, which are a lot more intense than orange flames. He manipulates constant barrages of fire to overwhelm foes with sharp flurry of attacks, flames issuing from either his limbs or his lance. However, he cannot maintain large jets of blue fire for prolonged moments, as it takes a lot of his concentration and energy to keep the flames going, which usually lasts 5 minutes, tops. Barrages of smaller flames can last up to 20 minutes at most.

Possibility of getting burnt by his own fire is an issue, especially when the fire he projects is fueled by rage and hatred, thus making it uncontrollable. The intensity of his fire depends on his energy and the rise of the sun, he is significantly weaker at night/winter solstices and stronger on summer solstice/day. He cannot generate fire AT ALL on solar and lunar eclipses.

Definitely weaker to water and earth, and can be overpowered by stronger fires than his own. He's more suited to close and mid-range combat, and would have trouble holding his ground against a long range attacker.

Alvise, or Alvie as his family calls him, generally is mild-mannered and quiet, preferring to blend into the wall than try to strike a conversation with others- though it often fails because the first thing people notice is that tall quiet giant in the background. Especially when you live with Asians. 190 cm and you're basically a titan amongst them. 

He's neat and orderly, and is affectionate to the people he cares about in his awkward way. He is a good listener, and might offer sound advice as moments- playing mediator for his siblings has its own benefits, he supposes. He's also agile and quick on his feet, and his reflexes are sharp as a whip. He might never choose to lead, but he conforms very well in groups and is an excellent team player, preferring to act by the book. Rules are there for a reason.

He's rather a pushover, actually- rarely speaking up his own mind due to a lack of self-confidence. Though he prefers to keep his feelings bottled, there will be moments where he explodes in anger, particularly when he feels cornered. However, he's quick to forgive, and rarely holds grudges towards anyone.

ＢＡＣＫＧＲＯＵＮＤ

  Alvie lives with his parents and a bunch of rowdy younger siblings, and often has to act as a third parent to them all as their parents were often busy with work. He doesn't mind much, so long as the house would stay intact by the time their parents came home for the weekend. Of course, with him just getting a job at a local florist means he doesn't have much time to look after them too, but at least he's around half the time to keep an eye on them. Or at least help glue stuff back together after the younger ones break anything.

On his 26th birthday, the little ones decided to make a birthday breakfast for him. They wanted to bake a cake at first, but in the end sunny side ups and toast were a lot more simpler than a cake. The kitchen stove refused to start after several tries, so they lit a match-

The events blurred in altogether, but the only thing he remembers from that day is the explosion, a massive fireball rising as he yanks the children away from the gas stove, and the flames falling at his feet without so much singeing any of them. The kitchen was wrecked, though.

His mum said it was his grandfather's ring that protected them. Maybe that was true, though he's been dead for a while now. 

Or maybe it was his spirit stone all along.

Who knows, right?

O T H E R S


- He loves spicy and savoury foods. Particularly mutton curry. No, curry isn't referring to the mun.
- Also he loves horror games. Barely flinches when the triangle head from Amnesia comes after him- though that doesn't actually apply to in real life situations.
- His right ear is a little hard of hearing- a side effect from the gas explosion. If he's listening to anyone he'll make sure they're standing on his left. Or if he wants to ignore you, he'll let you stand on his right. Or he trusts you completely to let you protect his weak spot.
- He's more fluent in Tamil than Spanish.
- His mum calls him very often to check on his "romantic affairs" with "all those beautiful co-workers you have."
